Profile:
Reporting to the HB Venue & Operations Manager within the Media Rights & Production Services Unit, the Venue Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting and coordinating deliveries of host broadcast venue operations and engineering plans for UEFA EURO 2020.

Purpose:

  • Managing the EURO 2020 related daily administrative activities of the Host Broadcast Venue & Operations team, as well as of Broadcast Engineering team during the pre-event phase;
  • Coordinating all operational documents and databases of Host Broadcast & Venue Operations, as well as of the Broadcast Engineering during the pre-event phase;
  • Coordinating the overall timeline and schedules required for Host Broadcast Venue & Operations and Broadcast Engineering;
  • Preparing, tracking and reconciling the Host Broadcast Venue & Operations and Broadcast Engineering staffing plan and database in close coordination with Marketing Services;
  • Planning, coordinating and scheduling technical suppliers (OB vans, camera providers, etc.) and staff in close coordination with Marketing Services;
  • Supporting and assisting the rest of the Media Rights & Production Services Unit (including the staff based at the IBC) with various administrative tasks, training and workshop organisation, site visits, document management (on Bridge and other platforms) and accreditations;
  • Coordinating and delivering Host Broadcast Venue & Operations and Broadcast Engineering reports;
  • Liaising and coordinating with all UEFA teams involved in EURO 2020 as regards Host Broadcast & Venue Operations and Broadcast Engineering matters and requirements;
  • Assisting with IBC (international broadcast center) management as needed;
  • Working at the IBC during the event to assist and support the HB Venue & Operations and Broadcast Engineering teams.
  • Assisting with other, ad hoc UEFA host broadcast projects if required.

Requirements:

Experience required:

  • From 4 to 6 years / in a broadcast and production environment, in the role of production coordinator, project management coordinator or similar
  • From 4 to 6 years / delivering TV production, operations and project management for major sports events

Education:

  • Bachelor's in a media-related subject

Languages:

  • English / Proficient
