MISSION
The Ticketing & Event Workforce Coordinator works with various projects to help coordinate tournament-time operations, develops and reviews operational procedures, assists with recruiting, preparing training sessions and organising ticketing monitoring and reporting during tournament time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working with various projects to help coordinate tournament-time operations, by attending alignment meetings and reviewing documentation;
  • Drafting policies and manuals;
  • Developing and reviewing operational ticketing procedures;
  • Establishing the plan for communication between the venues and the back-office team during the tournament;
  • Providing remote support on ticketing procedures and operations to the on-site venue teams before and during the tournament;
  • Preparing training materials for staff, volunteers and other projects;
  • Helping to recruit on-site staff;
  • Assisting with logistics and administration for the training sessions and the deployment of the on-site teams;
  • Assisting with project management and administration;
  • Helping to produce reports and presentations;
  • Providing support for other ticketing activities during peak times: on customer service, logistics, tickets distribution, match operations, etc.

PROFILE OF SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

Experience required:

  • from 4 to 6 years / Experience in major sports events, and in ticketing or project management would be an advantage

Education:

  • Masters Business administration, event management, sports management, communication or other related subject

Languages:

  • English / Proficient

Additional requirements:

  • MS Excel / Advanced
  • MS PowerPoint / Advanced
  • MS Word / Proficient
  • Ability to develop, implement and review ticketing procedures
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Available to work at the weekends and outside office hours (mainly during tournament time)
  • Problem-solving attitude
  • Experience in large scale sports events
  • Strong command of English
