The Head of Corporate Legal Services handles all corporate legal issues for UEFA and its subsidiaries.


- Managing the Corporate Legal Services Unit, overseeing and developing the unit's strategies, setting objectives and encouraging staff development;
- Taking charge of all corporate legal matters for UEFA, its subsidiaries and UEFA events;
- Overseeing UEFA's tax issues and providing tax advice to other UEFA divisions and UEFA's subsidiaries;
- Developing strategies to handle tax issues and optimise tax on activities in Switzerland and abroad, negotiating with tax authorities and applying their decisions, monitoring changes to Swiss and international tax laws and proposing appropriate measures for UEFA to take;
- Handling all insurance issues, developing a risk management and insurance strategy, managing UEFA's insurance portfolio and negotiating and procuring policies;
- Providing legal support to the Human Resources Unit in issues of employment law and social security legislation, work permits and UEFA's staff regulations;
- Handling UEFA's data protection issues, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, drafting policies and guidelines and providing in-house support regarding data protection regulations and their application;
- Advising and updating UEFA and its subsidiaries on Swiss law and any new practices and legislation affecting UEFA and/or European football;
- Managing the unit's budget and ensuring the efficient use of its funds.


Experience required:
- At least ten years' experience in corporate and/or tax law, either in a law firm or working as an in-house counsel
- Experience managing a team

- Qualified lawyer
- Bar exam
- Postgraduate degree in tax, corporate or European law, or a certified tax expert diploma would be an asset

- English / Proficient
- French / Advanced
- German or any other language is an asset

Additional requirements:
- MS Office/ Advanced
- Good knowledge of Swiss law
