In 2020, the UEFA EURO will celebrate its 60th anniversary. To celebrate this milestone, the tournament will be played across 12 different European cities - bringing the EURO closer to the fans and celebrating the best of European football and culture. To make this all possible, we need fantastic, dedicated people in every area - that's why we're recruiting a Broadcast Venue Engineering Manager.

The Broadcast Venue Engineering Manager is responsible for the overall planning and coordination of all broadcast technical infrastructure at the 12 stadiums for UEFA EURO 2020 and, during the tournament itself, for all technical installations and operations.


  • Preparing the technical venue infrastructure such as cable bridges and pathways, technical compounds, media seating and commentary facilities, special camera systems, power coordination and all detailed technical layouts and documentation for all 12 stadiums;
  • Managing technical and broadcast operations and standards in general;
  • Preparing four venues in detail, handing three of them over to the event-time broadcast venue engineering managers, and assuming the event-time role of broadcast venue engineering manager for the fourth;
  • Managing and coordinating power supplies and distribution to all technical areas and other required areas;
  • Planning and implementing the broadcast infrastructure, workflow and operations at each of the 12 stadiums to ensure proper technical delivery and support to host and unilateral broadcasters;
  • Planning, preparing and coordinating all technical operations, infrastructure and needs at each of the 12 stadiums;
  • Setting up and delivering technical operations and services for all matches;
  • Travelling to all stadiums regularly for preparations and planning;
  • Coordinating all technical installations and testing at each of the stadiums;
  • Ensuring delivery of all multilateral and unilateral technical services to achieve the highest technical standards during the tournament;
  • Coordinating broadcast operations between third-party suppliers and UEFA TV production, ensuring that all specifications and production needs are met;
  • Liaising with UEFA broadcast partners to ensure a high level of service delivery;
  • Finding alternatives and solutions. and putting emergency procedures in place in case of problems;
  • Overseeing all technical aspects of broadcast facilities and ensuring that operations meet approved international standards;
  • Preparing documentation;
  • Managing and controlling the assigned budget.


Experience required:

  • More than 7 years / as a technical manager for major events
  • More than 7 years / at least ten years' outside broadcast experience
  • More than 7 years / working in a live broadcast environment, delivering OB and host broadcast facilities


  • Technical Diploma in electronic engineering
  • Other IT solutions in a broadcast environment


  • English / Advanced
