The IF Services Manager will manage the Games services related to the Summer International Federations for the Olympic Games. 

Main responsibilities

    Project Management

  • Oversee and ensure the delivery of Olympic Games services (accommodation, accreditation, transport, ticketing, hospitality, etc.) to the Summer International Federations (IFs) before and during the Olympic Games
  • Prepare official correspondence on behalf of the IOC Sports Director. Manage the centralisation of information and communication to IFs related to the Olympic Games
  • Plan, attend and ensure the timely follow-up of the Olympic Games preparation, issue resolution and debrief meetings for IFs
  • Proactively lead and monitor IF-related projects and report on the progress to the IOC Sports Director and/or the Head of Section

    Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a liaison with all IOC departments and local organising committees to ensure that IF rights and benefits are fully understood, respected, fulfilled and optimised. Serve as an advocate on behalf of IFs within IOC departments and commissions
  • Establish, protect and enhance the relationships with each IF during the Olympic cycle. Provide day-to-day assistance to build and maintain open, productive and mutually beneficial partnerships and follow all areas impacting sport- and competition-specific matters
  • Attend and contribute to selected IF events and congresses as the IOC’s representative
  • Coordinate and participate in the IF individual meetings and working group meetings (planning of meetings, liaison with functions and follow-up of meetings in collaboration with the Head of Section)

    Institutional Matters

  • Prepare decisions and reports for the Executive Board and Session when required. Create presentations and materials for meetings or workshops with IFs
  • Ensure the preparation of the relevant information for the Head of the Summer Section, the IOC Sports Director or the IOC President ahead of official meetings
  • Assist the Sports Director and the Head of Section with any other institutional projects as required

Education, language and software competences 

  • Master’s degree or professional experience deemed equivalent
  • 4-7 years of project management experience
  • Experience in the organisation of a major sporting event considered a strong asset
  • Bilingual English and French. Knowledge of OCOG languages considered an asset
  • Excellent drafting skills in both English and French
  • Excellent command of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
