Workforce Logistics Coordinator        

Your duties:    

  • Coordinating and maintaining a strategic overview of all services allocated to workforce members across all the FIFA tournaments and events
  • Overseeing travel, accommodation and office delivery for all workforce members in cooperation with FIFA’s internal departments and external service providers, respecting FIFA’s set service levels and agreed workforce logistics calendar
  • Monitoring and coordinating the contracting and allocation of local offices for FIFA workforce members within respective host countries in close cooperation with Accommodation, Venue Management and IT departments
  • Managing day-to-day operations and organisation of office spaces according to needs and visual markings
  • Being in charge of the access control system for on-site offices, following local safety regulations and procedures
  • Leading workforce uniform project: ensuring that adequate uniform requirements for all workforce members are updated on a regular basis, dealing with the uniform supplier and managing the workforce uniform stock
  • Providing training and support to internal users of workforce logistics tools
  • Liaising efficiently with all relevant departments to ensure consistency in applicable and common workforce logistics matters
  • Organising and leading the workforce meetings with FIFA internal departments according to the set timelines
  • Ensuring the appropriate and relevant communication to all workforce members ahead of respective tournaments and events        

Our requirements:    

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in event planning and –management (e.g. sports and entertainment events, corporate events, incentives programmes, etc.)
  • Experience in staff logistics and/or workforce management at major sporting events (e.g. FIFA World Cup, Olympic Games, etc.) a definite plus
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills
  • English fluency required; additional languages a plus
  • Project management and reporting experience
  • Excellent IT user skills
  • Self-motivated team player with intercultural competence and a cooperative working style
  • Availability to travel occasionally
