- Long story short
In this role, you’ll produce strategic programming plans across the entire Red Bull Media Network. You’ll define content programming objectives for Red Bull’s Sports audiences (Bike, Esports, Board, Winter, Ball sports, etc.)., evaluate results and translate theses learnings into long-term strategies and educational resources.
- Eye for content
You’ll define the role of channels, identify partner opportunities and related channel strategies to optimize consumer journeys and audience growth. Defining project and content priorities for global channels and understanding key audiences and their behaviour is an essential part of this role.
Through targeted distribution plans you’ll be able to maximize the growth and engagement of key target audiences for sports.
Furthermore, you’ll identify content offering gaps and opportunities across the Red Bull Media Network and provide recommendations for adjustment, while establishing strong alignment between channels and content to ensure release strategy success.
- Leading and collaborating
Another aspect of this role is leading and developing a team of sport experts, who work on strategic programming of specific sport genres on a day-to-day basis.
You’ll ensure effective cross department collaboration, work closely with the analytics teams to translate audience insights into practical guidelines for programming and content. Moreover, you’ll provide regular updates on Audience, report on results, and suggest release strategies. Travel budget management within your area of responsibility will also be part of your role.
- Support markets
Establishing strong collaboration with markets, to better understand local priorities and needs, evaluating local market programming plans and identifying local optimization potentials and global up-levelling opportunities will be part of this role as well.
Your experience includes
- Several years of experience in Social Media, Digital Media or a related role
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong understanding of key audiences across target sport genres and understanding of audience profiling
- Ability to lead a team and superior project management skills
- Well organized with the ability to work under pressure and deliver work to the highest standard
- Ability to create strong relationship across departments, priorities and define standards for support
- Excellent communication and effective interpersonal skills
- Strong editorial understanding, ability to translate data into practical recommendations
- Fluent in English
