One vision. One goal: To make football truly global.

About FIFA

IFA exists to govern football and to develop the game around the world. Since 2016, the organisation has been fast evolving into a body that can more effectively serve our game for the benefit of the entire world.

The new FIFA is modernising football to be global, accessible and inclusive in all aspects. Not just on one or two continents, but everywhere.

Football is so much more than a game. It is a force for good that breaks down barriers and unites the world.

Education

Children who play football are more likely to stay active in life. Through the popularity of football, we teach and promote essential values and life skills.

Health

Health is more important than football. That’s why FIFA and WHO team up and advocate for healthy lifestyles through football.

Growth

FIFA invests nearly USD 600 million every year in new pitches and football facilities all around the world, including in many developing countries. For the benefit of our youth.

Equality

FIFA is determined to offer equal opportunities to all people without regard to gender, ethnic, racial or social origin, colour, religion, sexual orientation, age, disability or any other reason. We have realised significant improvements in recent years, but we know that we can still do better.

Join the team

Welcome to a team as diverse as the game itself. From our headquarters and regional hubs around the world, more than 850 FIFA staff from more than 60 nations, representing 211 member associations, work tirelessly to make football truly global.

We are dedicated to the beautiful game and its development in every corner of the world. We are everyone from coaches to tournament organisers, from receptionists to translators.

We are all different, but we’re all inspired by the beautiful game and we won’t rest until we have made football truly global – for every single person who wants to watch it, play it and live it.

We are FIFA.

A workforce as diverse as the beautiful game

Football is played on every continent, by every conceivable type of person, regardless of age, gender, sexuality, ability or any other distinguishing factor. It’s truly the world’s game, and we strive to ensure that this incredible diversity is represented within our staff, and that FIFA remains an inclusive place to work.

Our aims

As an organisation, our aim is to create and continuously develop an environment that celebrates diversity and inclusion – enabling all of our employees to participate and make meaningful contributions.
We are committed to widening representation, focusing on fair treatment and improving equal opportunities while ensuring the active engagement and inclusive participation of all people, at all levels of our beautiful game.
